The alleged trafficker, also known as a “coyote,” is a 33-year-old man who lives in the municipality of El Triunfo, Choluteca, on the border with Nicaragua, the Honduran Police said. He will be charged with the “flagrant crime of illicit human trafficking”, for which both he and the vehicle were brought before the authorities, the note added.
