Three explosives were installed at the El Charte tollbooth in Casanare, creating chaos for nine hours. They were detonated by the police.

Colonel Pablo Javier Galindo, commander of the Casanare Police, explained that the devices were abandoned by criminals who were traveling in a white van and that after installing them, they drew firearms to fire several shots into the air.
“These people arrive in the truck, get out, install the three explosive devices and fire a few shots so that the people who were in the cabins would get out of there,” he said.
The officer explained that each of the devices, which were loaded with 27 kilos of explosivesmanaged to be detonated in a controlled manner by uniformed experts, safeguarding the integrity of the population, although leaving some damage to the glass of the toll facilities.
Although within the hypotheses the fact is attributed to the ELN terrorist group who commits crimes in the area, the officer emphasized that all investigations will be carried out to find the identity and exact whereabouts of those responsible.
