Authorities from the Ministry of Education, together with representatives of the National Alliance of Organized Peoples, United People for Life Alliance and the Eastern Chirican Bastion of Struggle Alliance, swore in and installed the education table.
This table was installed to comply with what was agreed at the Single Table for Dialogue, in Penonomé, province of Coclé.
According to the authorities, at the next meeting they will present a methodology proposal, prioritizing the 22 scheduled points and will establish short, medium and long-term solutions, a schedule with a date for the different activities and meetings, strategies to develop and define who are the recommended mains and alternates for the table.
The Ministry of Education reported that Minister Maruja Gorday de Villalobos and her work team participated in a meeting with teachers’ unions, for the benefit of Panamanian education.
