This hospital structure consists of 5 modules with capacity for 40 beds with autonomy of water, electricity, air conditioning and sink.
The Ministry of Health, in coordination with the United States Joint Task Force-Bravo, deployed this weekend in the Metetí region a Field Hospital or Mobile Medical Unit as part of Operation Mercury III carried out in the province of Darién .
These medical teams will be part of the strategy for emergencies in the event of any natural disaster that develops in our country and will be under the administration of the Ministry of Health.

Panama aspires to be certified by the World Health Organization as level 1 against natural disasters in order to support any national region or sister country that needs it.
