Directives of the National Penitentiary and Prison Institute (Inpec) confirmed that in the last few hours a detailed inspection of at least 18 cells of the Ere Sur pavilion in the La Picota prison in Bogotá, several of the inmates who would have met with Juan Fernando Petro, brother of the candidate for the Presidency for the Historical Pact, Gustavo Petro.
The exhaustive inspection was presented days after the controversial meeting between Juan Fernando Petro and some with inmates convicted of corruption such as Iván Moreno, in addition to the proposal of ‘social forgiveness’ made by the presidential candidate.
