They inspect 80 establishments of sanitary interest in Los Santos

Over the weekend, some 80 establishments of sanitary interest were inspected by personnel from the Food Control, Veterinary Surveillance and Environmental Sanitation departments in the province of Los Santos.

The Ministry of Health highlighted that the operations were carried out in the districts of Las Tablas with 26 inspections, 9 in Tonosí and 45 in Guararé. As a result of the actions, the health personnel of the Los Santos Health Region filed 3 reports for deficiencies and lack of a license, in addition there were 3 seizures.

They also indicated that in each establishment, they verified that the food handlers had health and handling cards, in addition to the sanitary conditions, origin and temperature of the products.
