According to the Buenos Aires Ministry of Health, the implementation aims to respond to the specific problem encountered by people who changed their gender identity, given that despite having the complete scheme, those who did the civil procedure between the first and second inoculation , they could not access their vaccination certificate.
The coordinator of Provincial Program for the Implementation of Policies on Gender and Sexual Diversity in Health, Carla Giulianoexplained that the initiative arose in response to a large group of people who reported that they had no way of accessing the vaccination certificate with their identity.
