The Tele Pinar gallery, in the province Pinar del Ríoit will be headquarters on Friday, August 8 of the inauguration of the collective exhibition “The street where we all live”, a sample created by a group of American artists from Ohio.
This artistic project, which was part of the official program of the 15th. Havana Biennial, emerged from the initiative Letters from Ohio/Letters from Cubaan art-corner action promoted by the Artway Foundation, directed by Michael Reese.
As reported by the National Council of Plastic Arts on Facebook, the proposal was consolidated after an exchange that involved Almost 200 Cuban and American artists in the provinces of Cienfuegos, Matanzas, Camagüey and Havana.
The sample includes various artistic expressions such as painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, installation and fabricamong other techniques, which were already exposed in multiple locations, including the project behind the wall.
With this inauguration in Pinar del Río, The exhibition begins a tour of several Cuban provinceswith stops scheduled in Matanzas in October and Villa Clara in December, where it will remain open during this year and next.
