Three ministers of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN) denounced yesterday that false accounts were created on social networks and WhatsApp to impersonate them for extortion purposes.
The president of the country’s highest court, Minister Hugo Aguilar Ortiz, issued a “careful notice” in which he reported that he received reports about messages where he supposedly requests money or promotes financial support.
In this situation, Aguilar Ortiz clarified: “It is completely false… Any profile, message or publication that does so is totally unrelated to me.”
For her part, Minister Lenia Batres Guadarrama asked the social network Facebook to report and block an account that impersonates her identity on Instagram.
“Identifies with the user @leniabatres2“It’s a fake account,” he said.
Finally, Minister Giovanni Figueroa Mejía warned about an apocryphal account that links him to an alleged exclusive WhatsApp group to share financial recommendations.
“I don’t have an exclusive WhatsApp, IG, or Facebook group,” he said.
