MIAMI, United States. — The mother of a seven-year-old girl who was the victim of a vicarious femicide in Camagüey she is hospitalized, according to what the Alas Tensas platform announced this Thursday.
The magazine confirmed that the woman, identified as Yodeisi Fabelo Carballo, remains in a medical center due to a stab wound inflicted by the aggressor.
“We denounce the murder of a 7-year-old Cuban girl, and the attempted murder against her mother, Yodeisi Fabelo Carballo, who is hospitalized because of her injuries. We are in the presence of a Vicarious Femicide and an attempted Femicide. The events occurred in Vertientes, a municipality in the Camagüey province, in the center of Cuba,” Alas Tensas said on the social network. Facebook.
The platform also reported that the alleged murderer, known by the alias “Chupito”, has not yet been captured by the authorities of that province.
“According to various reports on social networks, the aggressor, known as Chupito, who would have had a love affair with Yodeisi, until a few hours ago was reported as a fugitive from the authorities,” the publication adds.
The minor was murdered at dawn last Wednesday in the vicinity of the Batey del Central. The incident occurred when the aggressor entered the victims’ home, killing the girl and seriously injuring her mother, a fact that Alas Tensas described as a classic manifestation of vicarious femicide.
“Vicarious femicide is the most extreme expression of vicarious violence, also called substitution violence, which is the violence exercised against a woman through an interposed person, usually her sons and daughters, but also other important people. for her”, pointed out the platform.
Although the Vertientes crime was denounced by several local residents, so far no official media has echoed the news, which has mourned thousands of Cubans inside and outside the Island.
