Authorities from the National Forensic Sciences Service identified the body of a woman who was thrown into a water channel located in the Los Hornos sector, Palo Negro (Aragua).
This is Sofía Torres, 14 years old, who had stab wounds to the neck. The body, stripped of clothing, was found on November 25 by passersby in the sector who reported it to the Cicpc, whose agents lifted the body and took it to the forensic clinic located in Caña de Azúcar, Maracay (Aragua).
The girl had her residence in Turmero from where she left for Palo Negro on Sunday, November 24 to meet friends.
Until now the Cicpc has not offered an official version on the clarification of that murder.
