Through a working meeting with the Auxiliary Organ of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) of the Capital, the street assemblies were monitored and controlled.
“The day of this August 14, began with a very productive work meeting with the Auxiliary Body of the PSUV of Caracas, giving follow-up and control to the street assemblies, for the renewal of our structures”, announced the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez on her account on the social network Twitter @gestionperfecta.
The activity was carried out in the computer room of San Agustín, in order to follow up on the street assemblies that take place in each parish.
“From the computer room of San Agustín, we are working organized, we continue to monitor parish by parish, as well as street assemblies for the elections of the base structures of our party,” Meléndez said.
As of this Saturday, 269,000 popular information assemblies have been held, heading for the appointment and election processes that will take place in the coming weeks.
Grassroots elections will begin on August 20 for new street leaders. Later, on August 27, the election of the community teams will take place.
For September 3, it is expected to elect the new members of the Bolívar-Chávez Battle Units (UBCh).
