The National Treasury held its Eighth Organic and Artisanal Market together with the Supérate Program and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), leaving an accumulated benefit of RD$1,785,982 in direct profits for small producers in those days.
With this initiative they seek to improve the living conditions of sellers and generate business opportunities. The sales have impacted artisans, entrepreneurs, agricultural cooperatives, MSMEs, green entrepreneurs, people with disabilities and family producers, with the aim of contributing to the economic and social development of low-income families.
In these eight marketing markets, the agricultural producers of Casa Sombra de Villa Poppy of the Family Agriculture Program, Women Super Entrepreneurs, and the artisans of Manos Dominicanas stand out.
And the Open Sowing producers, the suppliers of integral products of the Agricultural Cooperative and Multiple Services of Family Products of Monte Plata and the Integration Center for the Development of People with Disabilities (Ceindepedis).
Also Macuto Elías Piña, Chocosol, Cooperativa de Monte Plata, Chocolala, Productos Abella, Sazón en Polvo Bricaaya.
