The Argentine ambassador in Beijing, Sabino Vaca Narvaja, visited the offices of Huayu Runhe, a Chinese company in Chengdu that is dedicated to importing Argentine beef, and analyzed the expansion towards new products for the Chinese market, within the framework of the increase in the level of Argentine exports in this area.
The company is part of the strategic Hai Pa Wang Market, located in Chengdu, which markets more than 3,000 containers of beef per month, according to information from the Argentine Embassy in the Chinese capital.
Vaca Narvaja highlighted Huayu Runhe’s achievements in promoting Argentine agricultural and livestock products in China over the years, focusing especially on the marketing of Argentine beef in the Chinese market, and expressed his support for the company to offer Chinese consumers more and better high-quality Argentine products.
He also pointed out that since the first batch of Argentine meat entered China in 2011, exports of Argentine meat to that Asian country have grown exponentially year after year.
Meanwhile, the general director of the company, Wang Zhiguo, said that Argentine meat has been very popular among Chinese consumers for many years, not only because of its quality and price, but also because of the importance that the Argentine Embassy in China granted to the Chinese market.
Based on the exchanges held, Wang said that the Huayu Runhe company will continue to make efforts to introduce more quality Argentine products, including beef, to Chinese consumers.
The Argentine embassy plans to expand its representation inside China, particularly in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan, due to its role in the western region of China as a logistics hub with influence in the provinces of Xinjiang, Quinghai, Yunnan, Gansu, Guizhou and Tibet.
Likewise, it aims to reinforce the presence in the main electronic commerce platforms, as well as to increase the presence of Argentine products in the main commercial fairs that the Chinese provinces carry out.
