The mayor of La Paz, Iván Arias, said that what happened in Tarija should be replicated, when the authorities of the gcentral, departmental and municipal governments, sat down together to celebrate and engage development beyond the political mainstream.
“What happened in Tarija I think is the north, see all three levels thinking about an anniversary and looking to the future. That’s why I liked it and I hope this is repeated in the rest of the country,” said the mayor of La Paz, who attended the protocol acts for the departmental anniversary of Tarija.
Arias is optimistic that this can be resolved.eplicate on May 25, when another anniversary of Chuquisaca is commemorated, or on July 16 in La Paz.
According to him, we must build bridges for peace in the country that needs the unity of Bolivian men and women to get ahead in the midst of the difficult economic situation.
“You have to find the unity or otherwise we continue in the logic of confrontation. We have to generate a broad and great alliance for Bolivia to face the difficult times,” said Ariass.
He added that the pettiness should be set aside as the only thing it will do is look for the guilty and to continue facing each other because what interests the country now is the common good.
