The Training Center and Aviation School for Cabin Crew, Inter Aviation Services (IASCA), at its headquarters in the country, repeated its history with the graduation in full flight of a hundred of its graduates.
This second graduation ceremony was attended by the Minister of Tourism, David Collado, and the director of the Airport Department (DA), Víctor Pichardo, as well as representatives of the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (IDAC), and the airline Sky Cana, aircraft owner.
The graduates of the Cabin Crew and Professional Airline Agents areas, respectively, took off from the Las Américas International Airport, aboard the Airbus 321 with capacity for 220 passengers, to, after one hour in the national airspace, land in the same terminal in Santo Domingo.
“We have done it again and we are very excited to make history with each graduation of this nature, unique in the world. It is a very symbolic event that takes place in the same work scenario as our graduates”, said the director of the academy, Juan José Miquilena, after thanking the support and dedication of Víctor Pichardo, executive director of the DA, in all the process.
“We are leaving a mark in aviation history. It is in this country that the second graduation in the air in the world, in history, is taking place, and you who believed in your dreams, are the protagonists who proudly represent the country”, added the aviation specialist in his main speech.
Meanwhile, Minister David Collado stressed that success is dedication to work and training on a day-to-day basis, with persistence and dedication. “You should feel proud today because you have one more step in your life,” he pointed out.
He invited the six most outstanding students to be part of the institution in the AILA.
