Since January 27, citizens can check if they were designated as voting jurors for the legislative elections that will be held on March 8, 2026, a key process for the formation of the next Congress of the Republic.

The National Registry Office recalled that being a juror is a mandatory citizen duty, essential to guarantee transparency and the correct development of election day. Those who are appointed must complete prior training and appear on voting day at the assigned position.
The Congressional elections, scheduled for March 8, will mark the beginning of the 2026 electoral calendar, which will continue with the presidential elections on May 31, when Colombians will elect the next president of the Republic.

The electoral organization reiterated that citizens can have absolute confidence in the process, which will have all the legal, logistical and technological guarantees to ensure the transparency of the vote and respect for the popular will.
Furthermore, the authorities called on the appointed jurors to assume this responsibility with commitment, remembering that their work is essential for the functioning of democracy and for each vote to be counted correctly.
Finally, citizens were invited to verify their status as jurors in advance, inform themselves about the electoral calendar and actively participate in the elections, thus strengthening democracy and the exercise of political rights in Colombia.
