An exemplary conviction of 20 years of imprisonment, plus the payment of a thousand soles as civil damages, was issued against Berly Jerónimo Tupa Mirano, for the crime against property, in the form of robbery, sub type aggravated robbery, for having been committed with the help of two people and against a minor.
Prosecutor Marisol Ccarhuarupay, from the Second Provincial Criminal Criminal Prosecutor’s Office of Santiago, in charge of the investigation, demonstrated at the hearing that the sentenced person was carrying out a taxi service near the young town of Manco Cápac, in the district of Santiago, when she realized that a under 16 years old was alone, after shopping at the store, the taxi driver parks nearby and together with his accomplice, they violently manage to take away the cell phone and wallet of the minor victim.
Then the defendant together with the other unidentified person, fled aboard the vehicle, taking with them the stolen belongings. The older brother of the young woman, upon knowing the license plate of the vehiclerecognizes the author of the act when he was intervened in an apparent state of drunkenness by the Police, being taken to the sector police station.
Thus, the investigations concluded with the conviction of the Supraprovincial Collegiate Criminal Court B of Cuscotaking into account that the sentenced Berly Jerónimo Tupa Mirano had a criminal record.
