Relatives of the 19-year-old soldier who lost his life in this attack described his treatment as unfair. “The news was very hard for us, when we received it we had to go to Cali for the body and it seems unfair to me because they only helped us with the coffin. It is as if we were killed. We have to assume all funeral expenses. Start looking for help from everyone to be able to give him a Christian burial,” said Jazmín Riascos Valenzuela, the soldier’s sister.
