The bodies of two men were located this Wednesday morning under the Santa Cruz bridge, Francisco Linares Alcántara municipality (Santa Rita), Aragua, according to police sources.
One of the bodies corresponds to the officer of the Bolivarian National Police Edgar Renne Veliz Araujo, attached to the Coordination of Intelligent Patrol Station Sucre Municipality; while the other corpse belongs to his cousin Frainer Olaisola Bolívar. Apparently both died from mechanical asphyxiation.
Veliz and Olaisola resided in the town of Tocorón (Aragua), a relative of theirs informed the authorities.
The cousins would have gone out to sell a motorcycle and were killed at the place where they met the alleged buyers. Subsequently, the bodies were dumped in the Guerito Community, adjacent to the Santa Cruz Bridge, from where they were removed by Cicpc agents.
