Attention. This Sunday, the Superintendence of Banking, Insurance and Private Administrators of Pension Funds (SBS) published the Regulation of the Operational Procedure for the Eighth Extraordinary Retirement of Funds in the Pension Fund Administrators (AFP).
According to the document, AFPs have 90 calendar days from the publication of the standard (that is, today) to receive the requests of the affiliates. It is specified that orders can be made since Tuesday, October 21.
In the event that the affiliate wishes to give up his request to withdraw the funds of his CIC, he can communicate it to the AFP for the only time up to 10 calendar days before the date on which any of the disbursements has been scheduled, revoking the payment of the future scheduled disbursements.
In addition, it is indicated that there will be up to four disbursements of up to 1 UIT each, which must be made within a maximum period of 30 calendar days, computed from the date on which the application was submitted to the AFP, for the first disbursement and after it was made for the subsequent ones.
The rule also details that the AFP is responsible for providing the ideal means to make the payment effective, taking note of the correspondence of the ownership of the account with the identity of the applicant.
According to the provision, the digital platform of each AFP must guarantee safety and efficient access to complete the process without problems.
The Professor of the University of the Pacific and finance expert, Jorge Carrillo, explained that the schedule will be the following.
* 1st withdrawal (up to 1 UIT): Thursday 11/20/25 (30 calendar days after the application).
* 2nd Retreat (up to 1 UIT): Saturday 12/20/25 (30 calendar days after the 1st retirement).
* 3rd retirement (up to 1 UIT): Monday 01/19/26 (30 calendar days after the 2nd retreat).
* 4th retirement (up to 1 UIT): Wednesday 02/18/26 (30 calendar days after the 3rd retirement).
Likewise, the deadline for requesting withdrawals will defeat on Monday 01/19/26, at 90 days after the start of the operating procedure.
Given this, in the following days, AFPs must publish a calendar of retirement applications based on the last DNI digit (as happened in previous years), as well as establish a unique website for submitting applications.
