The lifeless body of a five-year-old girl was located this Monday, inside a septic tank in the Tronconero sector of the Guacara municipality (Carabobo).
Officials from the Central Strategic Region for Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis (Redan) reported that the infant was identified as Franyelis Raquel Véliz Rodríguez.
The minute states that the girl was in a hole 5 meters deep, located in the front part of the building without a number.
To extract the body it was necessary to establish a hoist anchoring system and introduce a firefighter officer, in coordination with members of the Cicpc.
In this regard, the mayor of Guacara, Johan Castañeda, stated that the girl had multiple stab wounds in different parts of her body.
“The discovery was made at 4:30 am this Monday,” he said.
The local president explained that the minor was alone in her residence when the event was recorded, because her mother, Yesika Rodríguez (30 years old), along with her 15-year-old stepson, were drinking alcohol at a neighbor’s house.
“Unfortunately, we started the week with news that saddens us all, since in the early hours of the morning we received a complaint in the Tronconero sector that it was an atrocious infanticide. At this time we are conducting all the relevant investigations to find the alleged murderer and his accomplices, “he said.
In this sense, Castañeda asked the community to report any case of child abuse that occurs in their community.
«As a citizen I ask everyone to be able to report any fact that you observe, whether it is a family member, a neighbor or an acquaintance who is acting in an inappropriate manner against the physical or emotional integrity of any individual. With the respective complaints, we will be able to act immediately to put an end to these terrible human losses », he sentenced.
They arrest an alleged rapist of a girl in Valencia
Officials of the Valencia Police arrested a man for allegedly trying to abuse an 11-year-old girl, in the Los Girasoles sector, located in Parcelas del Socorro, south of the capital of Carabobo.
It transpired that the subject was being lynched by residents of the community when the police commission arrived to apprehend him.
According to the mother’s version, the man repeatedly encouraged the girl to go home when he went to the store to do some shopping, saying obscene words and pointing to her private parts.
The subject was identified as José Simón Chacón Osorio, 44 years old.
