The head of a man was found in the Cerro Patacón garbage dump after an anonymous call alerted the police.
The Public Ministry and the National Police are investigating whether the head found belongs to the man who was found this morning dismembered inside a vehicle, in Betania.
Major Juan Leis, in charge of the Police Area in Kuna Nega, explained that units of the 12th. The Canal Police Zone went to the Cerro Patacón landfill to corroborate the information and indeed found the mutilated head among the debris.
Investigations begin immediately. Subsequently, coordination was carried out with officials of the Public Ministry through the Institute of Legal Medicine, Sciences and Forensics (IMELCF) who went to the place in order to carry out the survey.
The National Police continues to answer calls from citizens and appreciates their collaboration in order to maintain an atmosphere of peace and tranquility.
