A strong smell alerted the residents of the native community of San Cristóbaljurisdiction of the Sangani sector, in the district of Perenewho found buried the lifeless body of a teenager reported missing for five days.
The discovery occurred in El Pino hillan area where gravel extraction is carried out, in the central jungle of the country.
Victim was identified by his mother
The mother of the minor, Diana Astorecognized the items of clothing and confirmed that it was his son Raziel Mercedes Astoof 14 yearsstudent of the second grade “B” of the Ricardo Palma Soriano Educational Institutionin Sangani.
“My son disappeared five days ago. I filed a missing person report at the police station,” she declared through tears.
The last day he was seen alive
The teenager’s father reported that he last saw his son on January 7in the May 3 strip. According to what he said, Raziel had received 50 soles from his uncle after a day of avocado harvesting.
“He asked me to make it simple for him. I gave him 10 soles and I kept the 50. I thought he had gone to the warehouse to buy soda and I didn’t see him again. I called him five times, he rang, but he didn’t answer,” he narrated.
Neighbors mention possible previous conflict
Neighbors in the area indicated that the teenager he would have had a fight with his lover’s ex-partnera version that has not yet been officially confirmed and is part of the lines of investigation.
