Officials from the Chilean Investigative Police (PDI) found the bodies of two Venezuelans last Saturday inside a room in a building located on San Pablo Street, commune of Santiago, Metropolitan Region of Chile.
The deceased were identified as Alyna Boscán Muño and Gustavo Ramos Rincónnatives of the La Cañada de Urdaneta municipality, Zulia state.
According to information released by Cónicas de Chile, the couple was alone at the time of the incident and was located by one of the man’s children.
Margarita Parra, commissioner of the North Central Homicide Brigade of the PDI, pointed out that the investigative line points to an alleged femicide with subsequent suicide.
This thesis is reinforced by the way in which the bodies were found, since Ramos Rincón had a large chef’s knife in his hand with which he allegedly murdered his partner. and later took his own life.
Boscán Muño had multiple wounds on his chest, while Ramos Rincón had cuts on his neck and abdomen.
The commissioner added that members of the family group close to the couple corroborated that there was a core of violence between them. “Especially from him towards her, more of aggression,” he said.
