A body in an advanced state of decomposition was found this afternoon in the area of the Margarita forest highway in the Province of Colón. The Police cordoned off the area and closed the Forest highway.
They are investigating whether this body found in Colón belongs to the 20-year-old deprived of his liberty on Tuesday, Deputy Commissioner Jorge Dominguez gave details of the finding.
Dominguez said that it is being investigated whether this body is related to the prisoner, since the evidence gathered in that investigation led them to the discovery of the body.
He specified that officials from the Public Ministry are waiting to confirm whether it is the 20-year-old man deprived of liberty on Tuesday in the community of Arcoiris, less than three kilometers from where the discovery occurs.
