For five days, a Day of Priority Attention of apostille appointmentsin Barcelona, Spain, where they were favored thousand 112 compatriots residents in that country, as part of the achievements obtained by the Bolivarian Government of Venezuela, to guarantee timely consular attention, informed the general director of the Office of Consular Relations of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, Yomaira Melendez.
Meléndez indicated that from Monday, May 15 to Friday, May 19, 1,553 documents were verified to be apostilled, of which 1,369 were issued and delivered. He also pointed out that in addition to the verification of documents, the reset was carried out of users and modifications of data in the Legalization and Electronic Apostille System (SLAE).
The event that took place in Barcelona was held after a similar one had been held at the Consulate General of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in Madrid, which also exceeded expectations, after reaching 1,207 users, the verification of 1,000 692 documents that meet the requirements to be apostilled and the issuance of 1,486 apostilles.
In this sense, the official of the office of External relationshipsnoted that they will work on the schedules of the next days of apostille attention, planned in order to favor Venezuelans residing in countries such as Brazil, Colombia and Portugal.
