The 2023 Electoral Nominations Committee, headed by the National Assembly (AN) deputy Giuseppe Alessandrello, decided to extend the nomination process until Thursday, July 27.
This was communicated to the country by legislator Alessandrello during a press conference offered this Tuesday, after reporting that the Commission has a “very satisfactory number of applications so far” and due to the large number of applications made by the faculties of political and legal sciences of “a good number of universities” in the country, it was decided to extend the process nine more days.
“This is to generate a larger universe of candidates so that the selection process is finally a more universal and fairer process, and where we can extract from there the best and the best candidates to carry out that very important task such as that of govern the Electoral Power in Venezuela”, he remarked.
The assemblyman invited the people nominated by the universities to take advantage of the new extension and go to the AN headquarters in the Federal Legislative Palace between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm to submit the necessary documents.
