The Movimiento Al Socialismo (MAS) is drowning in the division that it exposes day after day. Yesterday the idea arose to evaluate if Luis Arce and David Choquehuanca must be expelled from the party led by Evo Morales. The national leadership of the MAS was left to make the decision. Then, Choquehuanca showed irony with the positions assumed by the radicals who follow the line of the cocalero leader.
“Each department is autonomous in making political decisions within the MAS; I know that in Oruro they have been expelled, six have been expelled in Cochabamba and The National Directorate of the MAS will evaluate whether or not the expulsion is appropriate of brother Lucho (Arce)”, affirmed the deputy Héctor Arce, close to Morales.
In Cochabamba, six MAS deputies were expelled for having approved the Census Law. Arce read press clippings about the political negotiations that took place for the sanction and subsequent promulgation of the regulations. The law was made viable by consensus with the opposition and allowed the 36-day strike to be lifted in Santa Cruz.
President Arce promulgated the norm and due to that action the legislator was consulted if he should be expelled from the MAS. The deputy once again left the decision in the hands of the national MAS leadership.
Deputy Arce also stated that many government officials arrived with blue flags, “but now they have changed them to red ones”. This, due to the affinity that President Luis Arce expressed in relation to Marcelo Quiroga Santa Cruz, the founder of the Socialist Party 1.
choquehuanca laughs
For his part, Vice President Choquehuanca mocked the positions assumed by the radicals of the MAS. “No, look!, they say, what color jacket he has. I have red in here just in case (showing the inside of her jacket and then started laughing). Not! It is that they have placed red balloons, they say now”, Choquehuanca ironized yesterday in an act held in La Paz.
“For that is called our process, process of change and change is revolution, change is renewal, brothers. Loyalty is not a declarative issue, loyalty is not declared, it is exercised”, said Choquehuanca.
In the radical wing of the MAS they criticize those who demand renewaln in the ruling party defending former president Evo Morales.
