Justice charged three people who participated in the double homicide that happened in February in the Chihuaha spa of Maldonado.
Last Sunday, February 26, they were found the bodies of a man and a woman, aged 48 and 31respectively, buried in advanced state of decomposition and covered in lime. They had been buried for about 10 days – near the El Potrero stream – and then it was learned that the man had been reported missing on February 9.
The investigation fell on the prosecutor of Maldonado Sebastián Robles who this Friday requested the indictment of two men, identified as the author and co-perpetrator of the murder. A third person, accused of covering up the crime, was also charged.
According to what was reported by the prosecutor in a press conference recorded by Telemundo, the people broke into a house to robthinking that there they would find drug and money.
“It was not the initial plan of the authors to kill the first of the victims“Robles pointed out and added that the motive, at first,” was to steal.
“They understood – although no objective element emerged – that the person had some amount or type of drug,” he said.
In addition to the two accused for being the author and co-author of the crime, a third person was formalized, who was in charge of moving the bodies, buying the lime and the acid. “He collaborated with them in eliminating the traces and indications of the crime, either by burying the bodies, buying the lime and acid, and then cleaning the vehicle used to transport the bodies,” he explained.
Several of these “situations,” Robles said, were recorded on security cameras.
