Through INEA’s social networks, it was reported that the Playa Colorada monohull boat will be used. The route of this maritime bridge departs from the Cumaná Ferry Terminal at 9:00 a.m. and then returns from the Port of Guanta at 2:00 p.m.
The National Institute of Aquatic Spaces (INEA) ordered the construction of a provisional sea bridge connecting Cumaná, Sucre state, with Guanta, Anzoátegui state, in order to serve the families who were left incommunicado by land due to the landslides. occurred in the Arapito and Playa Colorada sectors.
The population of both sectors will be able to move from one state to another aboard a boat, which will cost 10 dollars or its equivalent in bolivars according to what is stipulated in the exchange rate published by the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV).
Passengers will be able to use the Playa Colorada monohull vessel of the Waterborne Passenger Transport (TAP) project, a vessel assigned by INEA to meet the demand for travel in these sectors.
The boat will travel, on each trip between Guanta and Cumaná, about 35 nautical miles, taking about 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete the journey.
Those interested in traveling with this method of transportation should board at the Cumaná Gran Cacique Ferry Terminal. The trips will depart at 9:00 am from this point and will arrive at the Port of Guanta, where it will load more passengers and will return to Cumaná at 2:00 pm.

The aquatic spaces authority did not specify how long this measure would be implemented, but it is important to keep in mind that Venezuela expects to receive a total of 60 tropical waves, so at least 11 would remain for the coming months.
Various officials from state agencies are deployed in these locations, doing work to repair the damage caused by the rains, unblock roads, search for people reported missing and organize the families who were left homeless in shelters.
