The authorities of the Ministry of Health (Minsa) in the province of Coclé, together with the Social Security Fund (CSS) and the Security Forces, will set up a 24-hour Emergency Operations Center (COE), starting on December 31 from 2022 to January 2, 2023 at 6:00 pm in Río Hato, Antón district.

Mario Lozada, regional director of the Minsa, said the objective of this center is to be able to provide health care for medical emergencies; to those who attend beaches, hotels, taking into account that at this time, the province of Coclé, in Río Hato and Santa Clara is highly visited, mainly the beaches.

He stressed that this surveillance post will have an ambulance, National Police personnel, to avoid any disturbance in public order, it will also help the mobilization to be faster.
