They enable garages and mechanical workshops in Las Tejerías to teach

Regarding the avenues that were incommunicado in Las Tejerías, a representative of Fe y Alegría said that the national government has cleared them: “You can now enter Las Tejerías for the inhabitants, humanitarian aid, food can now arrive,” he stressed.

Professor at the Radiophonic Institute Faith and joy (IRFA) in the state of Aragua, Jesús Salazar, said that garages and mechanical workshops have been set up in Las Tejerías to give classes under the “open classroom” modality to children and adolescents affected by the landslide.

This Monday, October 17, in an interview he gave to the program point and continuebroadcast by Radio Fe y Alegría NewsSalazar said that some schools have been built, houses have also been used, which have been left in “average condition”, to teach classes.

“The schools of course are in poor condition. They are looking for solutions, but for now, open classrooms are being taught, teachers are also collaborating, people are participating. It is not that easy, but the formula is being sought with mechanical workshops, some garages, to give classes in Las Tejerías”, said Salazar.

Last Sunday, October 16, Vice President Delcy Rodríguez reported that she began the process of reconditioning the schools that were affected by the rains recorded last week in Las Tejerías.

“We are conditioning the schools so that the children can return to classes, so that the teachers who lost their families and their homes can teach classes again,” he assured.
