Correos Panamá launched the Pilot Plan of the service platform called “Correo Giros”, where people can send money to other countries, informed the general director, Julio Ramírez.

He stressed that initially it will be carried out with the sister country of Cuba, allowing thousands of users to send money transfers and thus expanding the range of services of the institution, aimed at modernization.

Ramírez indicated that they plan to expand this project to Colombia and the Dominican Republic, so that the Panamanian State and Correos Panamá have a space in the currency exchange that is generated in the country.
