With demonstrations of disagreement by the founders of Morena in San Luis Potosí, yesterday the assembly was held to elect the president and members of the state executive committee (CEE), in which Rita Ozalia Rodríguez Velázquez, sister of Rosa Icela Rodríguez, Secretary of Security, was the winner. and Federal Citizen Protection.
For more than two hours, the antagonistic groups verbally confronted each other outside the hotel in the city of San Luis Potosí where the meeting was held.
In Tlaxcala, by majority vote, Morena’s directors appointed Carlos Augusto Pérez Hernández and Luz Vera Díaz, as president and general secretary, respectively, of the CEE for the next three years.
In Boca del Río, Veracruz, Esteban Ramírez Zepeta and Elizabeth Cervantes de la Cruz were elected as state leader and secretary of organization.
In Hidalgo, the political group of the elected governor, Julio Menchaca Salazar from Moreno, imposed his hegemony by winning four of the seven positions within the CEE, including the presidency for Marco Antonio Rico Mercado, leader of the Coalition of Democratic, Urban and Democratic. The general secretary was in the hands of Marivel Solís, and Marisol Ortega, mayor of Tepeapulco, in the state council. Both are identified with the University Group of former PRI member Gerardo Sosa Castelán, subject to criminal proceedings for the embezzlement of 58 million pesos of public funds.
In Morelos, with 25 votes in favor, the brother of Governor Cuauhtémoc Blanco Bravo, Ulises Bravo Molina, became the president of the CEE.
