The Home Office rewards program reported that has doubled the amount offered for information on the whereabouts of Fray Vásqueznephew of President Pedro Castillo, and that the current sum amounts to 30 thousand soles.
Vásquez Castillo has been a fugitive from justice for more than three months for the alleged commission of criminal acts.
Fray Vásquez is charged with the crimes of criminal organization, aggravated collusion, use of a false document, false declaration in an administrative proceeding, and influence peddling.
Its incorporation into the Mininter Rewards Program became official on March 31, offering an initial reward of S/ 15,000 on that occasion.
It should be noted that two days ago the former Secretary General of the Government Palace, Bruno Pacheco, surrendered to the Public Ministry and is currently collaborating with the justice system.
However, the former Minister of Transport and Communications, Juan Silva, is still a fugitive, despite the fact that he is currently also part of the rewards program of the Ministry of the Interior.
The statement from the Interior sector indicates that the same thing happened with the former secretary general of the Government Palace, Bruno Pacheco Castillo, who appeared on the list since that same date, but was withdrawn after surrendering to justice. S/ 15,000 was offered for him, an amount that rose to S/ 30,000.
Both rewards were increased by the Ministry, under the management of the sector minister, Willy Huerta, with the aim of intensifying the search and promoting citizen collaboration in this task.
