According to the images captured by security cameras in the sector, four criminals aboard three motorcycles intercepted it quickly. Although Castro tried to protect himself inside the premises, one of the thieves followed him with a gun in hand and forced him to deliver his belongings. The scene was developed in seconds, without anyone being able to intervene to avoid theft.


According to preliminary reports, criminals managed to take a gold chain with Dije, a marriage ring and a bracelet, all of high sentimental and economical value. The estimated amount of theft exceeds 20 million pesos. Fortunately, the player was not injured, but visibly affected by the fact, which has generated rejection between citizens and the sports community.

The Metropolitan Police of Bucaramanga, through the Sijin, has already initiated the corresponding investigations to find the whereabouts of those responsible.
