They dismantle a clandestine laboratory and inspect pharmacies in Juan Díaz

A residence located in the district of Juan Díaz, where it is presumed that medical supplies were packed, was raided by the authorities of the National Directorate of Pharmacy and Drugs of the Ministry of Health (MINSA) and units of the Directorate of Judicial Investigation (DIJ).

According to Luis Abrego, head of the license section of the National Directorate of Pharmacy and Drugs, in this residence the products were packed, mostly natural food supplements and natural products to treat various diseases, for later sale.

They also carried out an operation in various pharmaceutical establishments located in the Los Pueblos Shopping Center, Juan Díaz district, to verify that the products that are handled have health records.

Abrego reported that all products that did not comply with the established permits and requirements were withdrawn; they were marketed in these premises.
