In Paya, Boyacá, one of the most serious alleged cases of racism in recent years in the country would have been registered, because they physically and apparently sexually assaulted two minors, all so that their mother, teacher Kerlin Murillo, would not go ” the English teacher for being black”, she denounced herself, and also, it happened in an educational institution.
The case was revealed by Semana this weekend, but it was not until this Monday, when the authorities in the country began to speak out.
The Attorney General’s Office responded that it is investigating the case and that “we reject any discriminatory act.”

From what is known so far, this fact would have several crimes, further aggravated by the alleged sexual abuse of one of the teacher’s children, a child under 6 years of age.
The harassment to which they were subjected and the various physical injuries they suffered.
According to Semana, who saw reports and photos, the children ended up hospitalized. “They even put urine in the mouth” of one of them, revealed Professor Murillo.
Among the aggravating factors, is that the sexual abuse and assaults on minors were committed by other minors allegedly incited by adults, it is not clear if their parents or the teachers themselves.

The teacher won the position after participating in a contest, so she moved with her children to the municipality of Paya.
She denounced that her companions, “They didn’t want me to be the English teacher, because I’m black.”
