The Judicial Power issued 15 months of preventive detention against those investigated in the murder of Mayor de la Mar (Ayacucho), Wilder Manyavilca Silva, and his wife, Dunia Bustíos Quispe. The crime happened on November 12.

Is about Willy Nislander Gutierrez Sayago (24), as co-author, and against Marco Antonio Auccasio Quispe (29), as a primary accomplice. They are being investigated for the alleged commission of the crime against life, body and health, in the form of aggravated homicide, to the detriment of Wilder Manyavilca.
Likewise, they are investigated for the alleged commission of the crime against life, body and health, in the modality of qualified homicide, to the detriment of Dunia Katiushka Bustíos.
As well as the alleged commission of the crime against life, body and health, in the modality of qualified homicide, in attempted degree, to the detriment of Fredy Raúl Navarro Enríquez, head of image of the commune; and the driver Rolando Guillén Flores.
The two investigated will be interned in the Huanta prison, as long as the investigation process against him continues.
Assassination of Wilder Manyavilca
The crime occurred on November 12 when the mayor of the province of La Mar was traveling in a van on the Ayna – Santa Rosa highway, a few minutes from reaching the town of Las Palmas.
Wilder Manyavilca was known to be traveling as co-pilot of the BHD-840 license plate unit. Dunia Bustíos Quispe, the mayor’s wife; Fredy Raúl Navarro and Rolando Guillén.
Regarding the attack, the Prosecutor’s Office indicated that said unit stopped after being intercepted by three vehicles: a red linear motorcycle, a gray truck and a white one. Later, some subjects fired 13 shots at the municipal van.
