They dictate dismissals to several people in the Odebrecht case

The third liquidator judge of criminal cases of the First Judicial Circuit of Panama, Baloísa Marquínez, provisionally dismissed 21 people this Monday, and definitively another 8 defendants, within the process for their alleged commission of the crime against the economic order, in the mode of money laundering.

Marquínez, also ordered in this resolution of dismissal order No. 31 of July 15, 2022, the lifting of the personal and real precautionary measures that were applied to them, in response to a request made by the Anti-Corruption Discharge Prosecutor’s Office.

As indicated by the Judicial Branch, this resolution is related to the file of the so-called ‘Odebrecht’ case, whose preliminary hearing was held on Monday, July 18.
