The 10th Preparatory Investigation Court of the National Superior Court imposed the measure of appearance with restrictions against the Secretary General of Free Peru, Vladimir Cerron Rojas, in the investigation that follows him for the alleged crime of affiliation to a terrorist organization, for which he must pay a security of S /. 5,000, in 10 days.
The same measure was also issued for the investigated Alex Pimentel Vidal and Joys Quiroga Vargas. Each one was imposed the payment of a security of S/. 1500.
On the other hand, the request for the fiscal requirement of appearance with restrictions was rejected and the simple appearance of the congressmen was opted for. Guido Bellido Y William Bermejoboth also under investigation for suspected terrorist links.
In the same way, it declared unfounded the request for preventive detention for those investigated for the crime of obstruction of an investigation for terrorism John Benites, Néstor Viera, Ana Córdova, Jaime Lovatón and Francisco Jara. He imposed appearance restrictions on them.
In addition, the Judiciary declared unfounded the request of the Prosecutor’s Office of 18 months of pretrial detention against Ana María Córdova Capucho, Jhon Benites Tangoa, Néstor Viera Fiestas, Jaime Lobatón Huilca and Francisco Jara Aguirre.
According to the Public Ministry, those involved in this request would have committed the crime of obstructing the investigation for terrorism that began based on an interview provided by Eddy Villaroel Medina in May 2021.
The investigation against Cerrón, Bellido and Bermejo began with a police report on an interview conducted in May 2021 with Eddy Villarroel Medina, witness in process. in said conversation Villarroel pointed out that the accused would have an alleged link with the terrorist organization Sendero Luminoso Valley of the Apurímac, Ene and Mantaro Rivers (Vraem), which operates under the direction of the Quispe Palomino brothers.
Likewise, Bermejo and Bellido would have had direct contact with ‘Comrade José’ in the Shining Path camps in Vraem, according to Villarroel. For his part, Cerrón did the same through Alex Pimentel Vidal, who would be close to his environment.
According to these indications, the Specialized Supraprovincial Prosecutor for Crimes of Terrorism and Crimes Against Humanity of Huánuco, in charge of the provincial prosecutor Eneida Aguilar Solórzano, initiated investigations against those involved. for the commission of the alleged crime against public tranquility, in the modality of affiliation to terrorism.
