The Legislative Power is working together with the Ministry of Popular Power for Electric Energy, in order to implement the use of new energy sources, with the aim of stabilizing the National Electric System (SEN), reported the president of the Energy Commission and Oil of the National Assembly, Ángel Rodríguez.
He also added that the National Electric Corporation (Corpoelec) is working on the installation of new energies such as wind and solar, which represents an advance in the nation’s technological development. In turn, he highlighted that both the Ministry and the Commission have been developing strategies to establish a new energy matrix and thus have a greater reach, especially in those states where electric power has deficiencies.
For her part, the Vice Minister of New Sources and Rational Use of Electric Energy, Tania Masea, highlighted the importance of informing citizens about the management of new energies.
He indicated that in Venezuela there are states with wind and solar energy, small hydroelectric plants, and places where biomass systems can be installed, whose renewable energy is based on organic matter, which is currently consolidated as one of the options managed by the consumers when it comes to generating heat, thanks to its energy efficiency, saving capacity and environmental sustainability.
