A medical center located in Camino Real, district of Betania, was detected by the Authority for Consumer Protection and Defense of Competition (Acodeco), selling medical samples of medicines.

According to Acodeco, they went to the Medical Center to attend to a citizen complaint in which they pointed out that the establishment did not grant the 20% discount, to which retirees, pensioners and the elderly are entitled by law.

When the officials of the entity arrived at the place, they detected the sale of medical samples, which by law are prohibited from sale, so they withdrew these products from sale and drew up the corresponding minutes for this case.
