They detect debts in half of the controlled luxury vehicles in Pinamar

A joint operation of the Collection Agency of the province of Buenos Aires (ARBA) together with the Ministry of Transportation and the Buenos Aires Police in the exclusive beach of La Frontera, in Pinamar, made it possible to detect that 50% of the controlled taxpayers, who they were owners of high-end vehicles, they registered tax debts.

“Through this audit focused on sectors with greater taxpaying capacity, we notified debts corresponding to different Buenos Aires taxes and we managed to sign payment commitments for more than $32 million,” ARBA director Cristian Girard said in a statement.

“Recovering these resources is essential to consolidate a present and equalizing State, such as the one launched by Governor Axel Kicillof since his inauguration, just over two years ago. We are going to continue with these actions that seek to reinforce controls and improve the tax culture in high-income sectors that, when they do not comply with their taxes, exacerbate inequality,” he assured.

During the inspection carried out in La Frontera, ARBA agents controlled a total of 234 luxury vehicles, of which half of them belonged to people from other provinces or the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

Meanwhile, of those registered in Buenos Aires territory, 50% of their holders had debts from Automotive, Real Estate or Gross Income.

Among those taxpayers who owed taxes, some paid at the time, through electronic payment, a total of $102,000; others signed regularization plans for $108,000; while the rest signed payment documents, with the commitment to cancel debts in the coming days for a global amount of $32.7 million.

Regarding the joint actions that the Province carried out in Pinamar, Girard stressed that “it is very important that the State be active and decisive in controlling the tax noncompliance of those who have the most and, at the same time, verify that the rules of road safety so that we can enjoy this summer season without regretting accidents”.

While ARBA was inspecting taxpayers with high-end vehicles, the Ministry of Transportation led by Jorge D’Onofrio focused on the circulation of quadricycles, fourtrax, off-road vehicles and UTV vehicles, which have caused various incidents on the beach, with the aim of corroborating the qualifying documentation of those shots and the road safety conditions in the place.

The area of La Frontera, north of Pinamar, is one of the most exclusive places on the coast. It is an isolated place, with a privileged landscape of dunes and beaches, where those who spend the summer in the region usually go with trucks, 4×4 vehicles, quads, as well as sports boats, boats and jet skis.
