They detect 12 irregular migrants on the streets of Panama and Chiriquí

Twelve irregular migrants were captured by inspectors from the National Migration Service (SNM), together with National Police units, during operations carried out in the capital city and in the city of David, Chiriquí province.

According to the SNM, in Chiriquí they managed to capture eight Venezuelan citizens, who were in an irregular condition in the country.

In this action, four men, two women and two minors were captured, all of whom were transferred by SNM inspectors to the Temporary Immigration Reception Station, located in Los Planes de Gualaca.

While in the capital city, the operation was concentrated in sectors of the Albrook terminal, Avenida B, Avenida Central and the Metro station on May 5, where four irregular migrants, also Venezuelans, were captured, two men, one woman and one a minor.

The authorities indicated that these people were also transferred to the Temporary Immigration Reception Station of Los Planes de Gualaca, in Chiriqui.
