Four men of Pakistani nationality were captured by military personnel, General Domingo Hernández Lárez, head of the Strategic Operational Command of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Ceofanb), reported on his twitter account.
Along with the group of Pakistanis, a Mexican was also captured, who entered Venezuela illegally, according to Hernández Lárez.
These people were traveling in a public transport vehicle from Güiria (Sucre), coming from Trinidad and Tobago, bound for Caracas. The procedure was notified to the Public Ministry.
This is the second batch of Pakistanis reported to have entered Venezuela illegally this year. Last March they deported 18 who were captured in the Altamira sector, Maturín municipality, Monagas state, according to reports from the Bolivarian National Police, the body that carried out the procedure in that entity.
The final destination of the 18 was the United States, following a route that included Turkey, Trinidad and Tobago, Uracoa (Monagas), Colombia and Panama, according to what was investigated by Immigration Control at the José Tadeo Monagas International Airport.
Until now, the citizen security authorities have not reported on the arrest of people involved in bringing Pakistanis to Venezuela. It was known about an open investigation.
