Three clandestine refineries located in Zulia were destroyed during an operation carried out by the Bolivarian National Guard in the Mara municipality of the aforementioned entity, according to reports.
With this group there are 12 illegal fuel production centers detected in the last few hours.
In these last three dismantled clandestine refineries, they seized 4,620 liters of diesel, 1,430 liters of crude oil, four tanks and 15 meters of pipe.
One of the illegal centers was located in the La Campesina sector of the Mara municipality, where they located 3,080 liters of diesel, 690 liters of crude oil, an artisanal tank and 15 meters of iron pipe used as a connection between production storage.
Another of the illegal refineries was in the Los Mayales sector, where the military seized 1,540 liters of diesel and an artisanal tank containing 300 liters of crude.
And in the Siete Minas sector of the aforementioned Zulia municipality, another illegal fuel production infrastructure was located.
Two tanks were located on that site where 440 liters of crude oil were deposited, according to the report.
Security organizations presume that the fuel produced in these illegal refineries is sold to the tancol groups that operate in the area in drug trafficking activities, the source explained.
