In recent days, security agencies have destroyed five camps built in Venezuelan border territory with Colombia, Minister Diosdado Cabello reported.
“Our borders are sheltered. The war they have in Colombia with irregular, paramilitary groups, that is a historical war that Colombia has; it has nothing to do with us,” said Cabello who stressed that Venezuelan police bodies and members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces are ready to participate in the protection of the Binational Zones proposed by President Nicolás Maduro.
“We, unfortunately, we cannot say that on the Colombian side,” said Cabello.
In that sense, military agents destroyed a logistics camp located in the Rosario de Agua Linda sector, Puerto Ayacucho, Amazonas.
The information was provided by Domingo Hernández Lárez, head of the FANB Operational Strategic Command (CEOFANB), who specified that such infrastructure belonged to the Toncol groups: Colombian drug armed terrorists.
On the site they found, among others, Ar15 rifle chargers and caps alluding to the second Marquetalia, a dissident group of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), to which the president of the neighboring country, Gustavo Petro, responsible for the murder of Senator Miguel Uribe.
