Bolivarian National Armed Forces detected a logistics camp dedicated to illegal mining, during patrolling in the Yapacana National Park, in the Amazon state, as part of the Military Operation Neblina 2025.
General Domingo Hernández Lárez, the Fanb’s operational strategic commander reported, through the X Network, that the camp was located in the Hard Polo sector of the National Park.
In the place an electric plant, two carpet rugs, two pairs of rubber boots, a mat, a horizontal refrigerator and ten diesel drums, among other inputs were seized.
The head of the CEOFANB stressed that according to the territorial legal system, the entity is totally prohibited from mining and hydrocarbons.
“The soil of the national territory is not negotiated, it is not sold and cannot be alienated. National parks and forest areas must be protected throughout citizens, since they are under a special conservation protection regime of the Venezuelan State, ”he added.
